Virgo, Saturn and the Moon

Dear Reader,

Despite the light pollution, the constellation Virgo remain visible sitting on top of the full Moon!!! Saturn is nearby, too.

Look! Isn’t that lovely? 🙂

When I was younger, I loved the Moon (and Sailormoon?? LOL) so much. It looks pretty and mysterious. As time passed by, however, I felt quite sad that a lot of faint stars would be washed away from our view by the bright moonlight.

I still like the Moon; please don’t get me wrong. But, I grow to love the stars more! They make me realize God’s unmeasurable love in many ways.

I do not believe in horoscopes, but, nevertheless, my birthday says I am a Virgo. The fact that even the fainter stars of the constellation are visible right beside the Moon makes me feel happy. It is encouraging to be reminded that people, just like the Moon and stars, are different from one another and were blessed with different sets of gifts and talents by grace of the Holy Spirit. Still, we exist not to compete. God created and blessed us in different ways so that we can compliment each other beautifully.

Here is an edited picture where I drew lines to identify Virgo, encircled its brightest star Spica, and drew a box around Saturn. I hope you like it, too.
