Praised be Jesus and Mary!
People say I’m persistent. I do not deny it. Indeed, I can be stubborn. And, sometimes, it can annoy people around me. Some people will think I’m wasting my time. However, I REFUSE TO GIVE UP WHEN IT IS MERELY DIFFICULT.
Is it really impossible? Or, is it merely difficult? If it is merely difficult, I refuse to surrender without fighting. I will work hard! I will give it my all!! Nothing is impossible in the One who strengthens me. 🙂 (Aja!)
I stumbled on this quote today while watching Itzura na Kiss Live Action and it expresses exactly what I believe. This also inspired me to write this post with the hope that others will be inspired, too.
It is important to have the ability to distinguish between impossible and possible. If it’s merely difficult, all you need is the mental strength to follow through, and an inability to give up, and things will work out.” –Philip Chesterfield
Whether it’s acceptance in my first-choice med school or my discernment for life vocation, bring it on! 🙂 Even if you call me too persistent or too stubborn, I shall not be defeated. I’m sure things will work out just fine.
