Mock Exam(??!!) Panic

Dear Reader,

Praised be Jesus and Mary!!

I woke up around 5am, but it was not intentional. And since I do not feel sleepy anymore, I decided to read this excellent and very informative blog – http://hopingtobeapinoymedstudent.blogspot.com.

In one of her (or his?) posts, she shared about her frosh orientation day. I was shocked when she mentioned that the highlight of the day was a mock exam! @.@

I thought, “What??!!! There’s mock exam on the very first day????”

The blogger explained that it was good as it gave them an idea what practical exams were like. But, still…. Exam on the first day?

I felt real panic.

If you follow my blog, you would know that I took up Marketing Management for my bachelor’s degree and I have no background at all when it comes to hard sciences. Some more, the photo in her blog reminded me that I do not even remember how to operate a microscope. It was long forgotten since the last time I touched one back in high school. (Mental note: must at least study again how to use microscopes…)

I already gave up my job and I have a lot of free time now. I decided that I want to do advance reading, but I have no idea where to start. *stress* *anxiety*

Oh, well! I have decided and there’s no turning back!

If things become more difficult for me, it simply means I need to study harder! Yay! Aja!!!! Gambarimasu!! c”,)k

Sincerely,
Kristine G. Veneracion

P.S. Advice regarding advance reading will be much appreciated! 🙂

Update 2:
the author of the blog I mentioned earlier replied. 🙂 she’s very nice and friendly. ^^ she advised to just relax and enjoy the rest of the vacation. She reiterated that the mock exam was simply to show how exams are like – fast paced, difficult, mind numbing, but exciting. She added, “If ever, and you really really do want to study, you can touch up a little on basic histology. But, again, I’d recommend that you just enjoy what little rest time you have left. :)” She kept repeating that I should enjoy the vacation. My cousin also told me the same thing. I think I will heed their advice. I’ll do some light reading just for fun, but I will not stress myself just yet. Haha! 🙂
