Praised be Jesus and Mary!
“Those who are healthy do not need a physician,” Jesus claimed, “but the sick do.”
As I have shared in previous posts, I have been following Fr. Robert Barron’s Lent Reflections. In his last email, he explains, “One of the most important spiritual tasks then, especially in our time, is to awaken to the fact of sin–and to acknowledge our need for a savior…Only when we recognize our deep brokenness and dissatisfaction, neither of which we can heal on our own, can we encounter the One who fully heals.”
Let us acknowledge our sins and pray that Jesus, the greatest physician, may heal us.
Have a blessed Lent!
