It’s Okay To Not Know Everything

Dear friend,

Praised be Jesus and Mary!

I can’t remember which post, but I’m think I wrote something similar to this before.

No one can do everything right away. No one can do everything right after birth.”

It’s true! Even the best musicians did not know how to sing or play instruments right after they were born. Even the best doctors did not even know the parts of the body when they were little. All the big names in every industry started from scratch.

We learn on the way. We learn as we grow.

If you really wish with all your might for something, go through many trials and errors and take it to heart.”

In the process, we sometimes feel embarrassed to not know something. We sometimes feel that our questions might sound stupid or too simple. There are also times when we do not succeed in our quests. It’s okay. If we gave it our best shot, it is not shameful.

It’s not embarrassing to not know something. There is no shame in failure. But, not devoting yourself to a goal is shameful.”

So, let us not entertain unnecessary thoughts like “I’m not good enough” or “It’s embarrassing”. Let us focus on what is important, our goal, and devote ourselves to it.

The Lasallian Prayer: I will continue, oh my God, to do all my actions for the love of you.

Love,
Kristine G. Veneracion
