Shooting Star and Hope

Dear friend,

Praised be Jesus and Mary!

I saw another shooting star and I wasn’t even star gazing tonight. โญ๏ธ๐ŸŒ

Everyday when I reach home, I’d briefly look up at the night sky before going inside. It’s a habit. I always hope and wish to see a shooting star. If I don’t see one, that’s also fine. There’s always next time. Besides, the sky is beautiful as it is.

I think it’ll be good if I can apply this attitude in my studies – always being hopeful, consistently doing my best, appreciating what’s in front of me and, if I stumble whilst on this journey, I’d get up and move forward with a postive attitude. ๐Ÿ™‚

(Back to the stars…)

Tonight, I saw countless stars twinkling and smiling at me. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ The Moon was hiding. Is it New Moon? ๐ŸŒš๐ŸŒŒ ahh~ ๐Ÿ’•โค๏ธ This is the perfect sky condition for watching meteor showers. The sky was truly majestic! Again, I thanked God for being alive and for the beautiful sight. “He is truly amazing,” I thought.

Then, suddenly, a thin streak of white light appeared right where I was looking!!! Waaaaa!!! For the second time this summer, I saw a meteor without even planning to stay out for stargazing. Amazing!

Oh, I feel blessed! That’s why I’m sharing this here in my blog. Thank you for reading.

Love,

Kristine G. Veneracion
