[Answered Prayer] Lost and Found iPhone

Dear friend,

I GOT MY PHONE BACK!!! PRAISE GOD!!

I am very thankful (as always) to the very powerful intercession of St. Anthony of Padua, patron saint of lost articles, and Mama Mary for helping us pray to his son Jesus. Most especially, I thank Jesus for listening to my pleas. I thank the Holy Spirit for moving the heart of the person who got my phone. PRAISE GOD!

Event summary: The person who got my phone inserted my SIM card in another phone to contact my mom, my dad, and Ronald using my own number. He was convincing Ronald to disclose my passcode, although Ronald was able to give all details of our calling card which was inserted in my phone case. Since we didn’t want him to get access to my phone contents, we gave up. The person said that he will pay someone to get it unlocked and keep the phone for himself. He stopped communicating with us. I called my service provider to block my SIM card.
I don’t know why, but I kept telling Ronald that I was still hopeful about getting my phone back. Ah! It was probably because after I realized that my phone was missing, we saw a dove flying really low. I thought, “God was telling me, I’m sure, that there is hope.” Coincidence or not, I was sure that I should stay hopeful. I did.

The following day, my mom and Ronald received text messages from an unknown person. Ronald & I received suspicious messages in FB Messenger. He said that he found my phone without SIM card, but was able to contact us using the details in our calling card. He was lying. Because, the only way to get my mom’s number was through my SIM. He denied ever texting my mom. Liar. Nevertheless, he told us that he wanted to return the phone face to face. I did not agree, because he might be up to something dangerous. I requested that he send the phone by courier while I pay for the expenses. He was hoping that I pay him more than that. I agreed.

Although he was lying, he still sent my phone back! I believe that my prayers were answered. Perhaps the Lord whispered to him and his conscience.

Also, on the way to retrieving my phone, I got into a minor accident. Thank you, Ronald, for treating my foot, and for staying by my side making me feel always safe, loved and blessed.

As for me, I gotta be more careful next time. 🙂
Sincerely,

Kristine G. Veneracion
